Fall and Christmas Mini Session dates are always announced in July, but if mini session timing or dates doesn’t work for your family, there are still flexible regular portrait options available now.

🌾 Custom Mini Sessions — Honey Brook, PA
Limited Release | Select Dates from September through November
If the Spring Mini date doesn’t align with your schedule, Custom Mini Sessions are a limited alternative offered on select dates at a private trail location in Honey Brook, PA.
These sessions aren’t always available! They open in small windows, allowing space for a slower pace and the same grounded approach my seasonal minis are known for, just with YOUR choice of date!

Why These Sessions Matter
Most days, you’re the one behind the camera. You’re catching milestones on your phone, snapping quick photos in between everything else, making sure everyone else is remembered, even if you aren’t.
These sessions are a chance to step out of that role for a moment. To be with your people instead of documenting them! To exist in the memories the way you already exist in their lives.
This isn’t about creating a polished version of your family. It’s about noticing what life actually looks like right now. The way your kids lean into you, the closeness that happens without thinking, the season you’re in before it changes.
Because it will change. And having a record of this… not the pretend version, but the real one is something you’ll be grateful for later.

What’s the difference between a Mini Session and a Full Portrait Session?
Mini Sessions are 15 minutes and take place on specific dates at set locations. They’re a good fit if you want something straightforward, efficient and easy to plan around.
Full Portrait Sessions are 40 minutes and give you more flexibility. There’s more time built in, more choice when it comes to location and less pressure to move quickly. These tend to work better for families who want photos at home, have young kids who need time to warm up, or prefer a slower pace overall.
How many images will we receive?

Seasonal and Custom Mini Sessions: a minimum of 20 images

Full Portrait Sessions: a minimum of 55 images
You’ll receive a complete gallery that naturally represents your family’s energy and connection.
When will we receive our gallery?
Turnaround time is always within 2 weeks, unless stated otherwise! Closer to the Holidays, I will sometimes offer shorter turnaround times to give my clients time to order Christmas cards.
What should we wear?
After booking, you’ll get access to my online outfit styling tool. It includes outfit generation that is totally custom to the color scheme and vibe you input into it! The color guidance and outfit ideas it offers will photograph well without feeling too matched. The goal is to make picking outfits fun!
Are pets allowed?
Yes! Pets are welcome for both all sessions, as long as the location allows them and they’re comfortable around people.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s normal and expected!
Kids don’t need to sit still or “perform” for these sessions to work. Movement, short attention spans and breaks are all part of the process. I follow your child’s lead. We will have fun with it!
Can we choose our location?

What if we need to reschedule?
Retainers are non-refundable, but they can be transferred to another available session if something unexpected comes up. Full details are included during booking so there are no surprises.
Which session should we choose?
If you want something quick and easy to plan, a Mini Session is a great option!
If you want more time, location flexibility, or a calmer pace, a Full Portrait Session is likely the better fit.
