I’m a Philadelphia wedding photographer who loves sharing thoughtful planning tips, real galleries and a few travel stories along the way. Whether you're here for wedding inspiration or just dreaming up your next adventure, I’m so glad you’re here. Let me know what you'd love to see more of!

If you’re searching for a Stotesbury Mansion photographer or wedding photographer Philadelphia PA, you’re in the right place! This is what a wedding day here can actually look like.
Renee and Patrick planned their ceremony and reception at The Stotesbury Mansion in Philadelphia, which kept the day in one place and allowed everything to move smoothly from start to finish, which is key for a Center City wedding.
Trust me when I say this…the less driving, the better. City traffic and timelines can get crazy very quickly!
Their day felt so classic, calm and really focused on the people closest to them. Surrounded by the venue’s grandeur and style really set the tone for this gorgeous day.
Renee got ready at a friend’s house in the city before heading to The Stotesbury Mansion.

Patrick and the groomsmen also got ready nearby, which helped keep the day simple.

I always love when there is less travel built into the timeline because it gives everyone more room to actually enjoy the morning.
In this timeline, we met them at the Mansion. So they finished hair and makeup and then headed over, which is when over coverage began!

Renee and Patrick decided to do a first look before the ceremony.
This gave them time together before the day really started moving. It also helped us get portraits done early, which made the rest of the day feel easier.

Their ceremony took place at The Stotesbury Mansion at 5 PM. The coolest part? It was dark outside but it didn’t even matter.
That’s something you really shouldn’t take for granted during a philly winter wedding! If your venue is indoors, you’re not trying to compete with the light. The Mansion’s ceremony space has so much character, so everything felt classic and intentional, woven into the city’s history.

Renee and Patrick shared family details with me ahead of time, which helped us move through portraits with care.
Understanding and planning around family dynamics always makes such a difference.
Family photos can feel stressful if no one knows what is happening, but when everything is talked through ahead of time, it feels so much smoother.
This is one of the reasons choosing the right photographer for wedding days matters. You want someone who can guide the day without making it feel stiff.

After cocktail hour, everyone moved into the reception.
Their evening included dinner, dancing, cake cutting and time with the people who came to celebrate with them.
They kept the night simple and SO MUCH FUN!
It is one of those venues where you do not have to overcomplicate the day since the space already gives so much to work with.
For couples comparing wedding venues in Philadelphia, The Stotesbury Mansion gives so many options for natural portraits, family photos and reception coverage without needing to leave the venue. I also photographed a snowy Philadelphia wedding at the Stotesbury Mansion! Read more about that here.

If you’re currently looking for a Stotesbury Mansion wedding photographer, wedding photography services, or trying to hire wedding photographer support in Philadelphia, you’re in the right spot! I actually created a blog post, “10 Questions to Ask Before Choosing Your Wedding Photographer.” Which is a great resource if you’re still deciding!
But for your venue? The biggest thing to think about is not just how the space looks, but how your day feels inside of it.
Renee and Patrick’s wedding worked so well because the timeline made sense. Their first look gave them space, their family photo plan kept things calm, and having everything at one venue helped the day feel connected.
That is always the goal.
A wedding day that looks beautiful, but also feels fun to be in.
