Gianna and Nick’s wedding at Bogey’s Lakeside was a full-on party from start to finish. I’m talking dancing cannoli guy, dessert truck, buttery yellow and periwinkle details and one of the most joy-filled Father’s Day first looks I’ve ever photographed. If you’re planning your wedding at Bogey’s in Pitman, NJ, you’re in for something special. Here’s everything you should know (from a photographer who has been there countless times).
One of the most exciting updates at Bogey’s Lakeside? Their brand new getting ready suites for both brides and grooms. Clean, bright, spacious and on-site, these suites are available three hours before your ceremony so you can settle in, get ready with your people and have your first look. Bonus: having your full crew nearby makes for great photos, better timeline flow and less stress.
Let’s talk about the cocktail hour, because Bogey’s takes it seriously. Their 1.5 hour cocktail hour option is so great. It gives guests plenty of time to enjoy the food (which is so good), explore the outdoor space and greet each other before heading into the reception. For couples, this extended timeline means more freedom: sneak off for sunset portraits, spend time with family, or just breathe a little before the party really kicks off. If you’re not doing a first look, this is great to get your portraits completed AND enjoy cocktail hour.
If you haven’t toured Bogey’s outdoor spaces, do it. From the lake ceremony space to the bourbon bike setup for cocktails, it’s a unique mix of fun. Add market lights, your people and a summer breeze and you’ve got a wedding that feels elevated and comfortable.
This day was packed with personal details that made the whole wedding feel intimate and intentional.
Their color palette of buttery yellow, soft peaches, periwinkle, blush and cream brought her ornate garden vibe to life and every vendor made it unforgettable.
Bogey’s isn’t just a pretty venue (although it’s definitely that). It’s a well-run, flexible, genuinely enjoyable place to photograph and celebrate. If you’re looking for a South Jersey wedding venue with:
