Some weddings just feel special from the moment you step in. Maybe it’s the history between the couple, the gorgeous details, or even the unexpected little moments…like the random ducks that wandered through town during Erica and Logan’s wedding day at Historic Smithville Inn. (Truly iconic wedding guests.)
For me, this day had an extra layer of excitement, because there was 1 past, 1 present and 1 future KAP bride all at this speical wedding! Another fun fact? My second photographer, Katie, (if you’ve been to a KAP wedding, you know how awesome she is) got married at The Smithville Inn herself, and this was her first time being back since her own wedding day!
The wedding space at The Smithville Inn is full of history and so inviting, the entire space flows effortlessly from the outdoor ceremony to cocktail hour, making it easy for guests to relax and enjoy every part of the celebration.
After touring different venues, The Smithville Inn just felt right. They loved the charm of the town, the wood details inside the reception space, and the fact that they could stay right there at the bed and breakfast within walking distance? A perfect bonus.
“Once you walk back down the aisle together, stay together. My husband and I committed to this, and now, looking back, we shared every moment of our wedding day. It made everything flow so much smoother and gave us memories we’ll both hold onto forever.” – Erica
