Table photos are exactly what they sound like: you and your spouse move from table to table during your reception, quickly grabbing a photo with each group of guests.

We typically coordinate with the DJ ahead of time so that after you’re done eating (or during a natural break), they announce to everyone that we’re doing table photos during one song.

Why one song? Because it keeps the energy up, keeps it quick, and makes it feel like part of the party—not a photoshoot interruption.

How We Make It Easy (and Fun)

This isn’t a “line everyone up and wait” situation.

My second photographer and I have a system that keeps things effortless:

• While I’m photographing one table, my second photographer is already setting up the next table so it’s ready when you walk over.
• We encourage quick, natural groupings
• We keep things moving with a smile (and sometimes a little hype!) so it feels fun, not forced.

You’re basically doing a “victory lap” around the room…getting love from every table, feeling the excitement and making sure every single guest gets a photo with you.

• Tell your DJ ahead of time: We’ll work together to pick the right song and the right time.
• Do it early: Right after dinner or before open dancing kicks off keeps everyone easy to grab.
• Stay relaxed: The faster you move, the more real the smiles.
• Let me lead: Trust that we’ll keep it quick, smooth, and fun. You (and your guests) just get to enjoy it.
