Welcome! I'm Kayla and I want you to know that I'm here for you during this exciting season in your life. I love sharing wedding advice and galleries from the gorgeous venues I get to work with! Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section and let me know what you want to see more of. Happy Wedding Planning!
One of the things I love most about the couples I work with is how much they value their people. It’s not just about gorgeous portraits or epic dance floor shots, it’s about the connection. It’s about making sure the people who showed up to celebrate with you are seen and remembered.
One of the best ways to make that happen? Table photos.
If you want a photo with every single guest at your wedding without spending the whole night posing for group shots, table photos are the way to go. Here’s how we make it happen seamlessly and why it’s one of the most meaningful parts of your reception.
Table photos are exactly what they sound like: you and your spouse move from table to table during your reception, quickly grabbing a photo with each group of guests.
We typically coordinate with the DJ ahead of time so that after you’re done eating (or during a natural break), they announce to everyone that we’re doing table photos during one song.
Why one song? Because it keeps the energy up, keeps it quick, and makes it feel like part of the party—not a photoshoot interruption.
This isn’t a “line everyone up and wait” situation.
My second photographer and I have a system that keeps things effortless:
You’re basically doing a “victory lap” around the room…getting love from every table, feeling the excitement and making sure every single guest gets a photo with you.
It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of a wedding day. But when you look back, the faces in those table photos? Those are your people. Your inner circle. The friends and family who showed up for you, cheered you on, and danced the night away with you.
Table photos make sure no one gets missed. They’re a visual record of everyone who was there to witness the start of your marriage.
And for couples who value connection over perfection (my kind of people!), this small but powerful part of the day ends up being one of the most emotional parts of the gallery.
Want your wedding gallery to feel full of life, love, and the people who matter most?
That’s what I’m all about. If you’re planning a wedding and you know your guests are a huge part of your story, I’d love to capture it all for you, seamlessly and intentionally. Reach out here to get started.
