A Quiet, Meaningful Wedding Day in Chester County

With Ryan serving in the military and stationed in Georgia and Maura preparing to join him right after the wedding, their day felt like a long-awaited excitement. Their Chester County wedding was built on meaning… intention, family, Presence.

They exchanged vows at the London Grove Monthly Meeting House in Kennett Square, PA, an incredibly peaceful Quaker Meeting space tucked right into the heart of Chester County. With just a few loved ones present, Maura’s dad had the honor of officiating. As a Chester County wedding photographer, I get to see a lot of unique ceremonies…but this one? It was sacred. No distractions. Just love, promises and air full of stillness that made every moment feel profound.

Following the ceremony, we drove through the winding backroads of Chester County toward their barn reception in Cochranville, PA. The property was private and peaceful, set against rolling fields and the kind of countryside that makes this area such a dream to photograph! The barn was cozy and personal. No pressure to perform, just space to celebrate.

It was rooted, grounded and full of intention. Everything a wedding should be.
