Getting Ready at Running Deer Golf Club

One of my favorite things about this South Jersey wedding venue is how both getting-ready suites are on-site and only a few steps apart. Because I was the only photographer for Riane and Luke’s day, this layout meant they both received full getting-ready coverage without adding any stress or extra time. After photographing the bridesmaids and their matching pajamas, I slipped over to Luke’s suite while Riane changed into her dress, keeping everything smooth and well-paced.

Riane and Luke shared their first look on Running Deer’s tree-lined path. This is one of my favorite spots because it highlights everything Running Deer Golf Club is known for… the tall trees, sweeping golf grounds and a natural setting that feels both refined and relaxed. We used that time for quiet, natural portraits before meeting the wedding party. The light stayed even, the grounds were calm and everything stayed ahead of schedule. Their neutral wedding palette, tan dresses and greenery-forward florals—fit beautifully against the greens and wooded backdrop of Running Deer.
