TogglePlanning a wedding at The Belle of Blue Bell in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania? Maura and Matt’s November wedding offers inspiration for couples considering this Montgomery County venue. From their private first look and dusty blue wedding details to a candlelit reception with a live band, their day showcased beautiful portrait opportunities and personal touches throughout the celebration.
Our team at Kayla Aspen Photography captured their wedding day, including outdoor portraits, wedding party photos and reception moments at Blue Bell Country Club. If you’re considering The Belle of Blue Bell for your own wedding, here’s a closer look at their celebration and a few planning details worth keeping in mind.
Maura and Matt got married on November 9, with a wedding that brought together beautiful details and plenty of personality.
They chose dusty blue and champagne for their wedding colors, with florals by Willow & Thistle and candlelight throughout their reception.
And some of our favorite personal touches? Maura had charms honoring her grandparents attached to her bouquet, and she swapped her wedding shoes for custom Converse at the reception.
We LOVE when couples incorporate little details that mean something to them!

One of the sweetest parts of Maura and Matt’s wedding happened before their ceremony even began.
They chose to have a private first look and exchange personal vows with each other ahead of the ceremony.
Since they planned their first look for the early afternoon, our team also had time for couples portraits, wedding party photos and immediate family portraits before their guests arrived.
And here’s why that can be such a great option at The Belle of Blue Bell: With outdoor portrait locations around the country club property, couples can take advantage of the scenery while building a photography timeline that leaves room for the rest of their wedding day.

One of the things worth considering when touring The Belle of Blue Bell is the variety of spaces available for your wedding.
The property offers landscaped grounds, golf course views, a garden ceremony area and indoor reception spaces. That gives couples options for outdoor wedding portraits while keeping the ceremony and reception at the same venue.
For Maura and Matt’s November wedding, our team photographed their couples portraits and wedding party before the ceremony, leaving the evening open for everything they had planned with their guests.
And if you’re currently comparing Montgomery County wedding venues, this is something we’d encourage you to ask about during your tours: How easily can you move between your portrait locations, ceremony and cocktail hour?
Those little logistics can make a BIG difference in how much time you actually get to spend with your people.
After their ceremony, Maura and Matt’s guests headed into cocktail hour before joining them for their reception at The Belle.
The reception brought together their dusty blue and champagne color palette, florals by Willow & Thistle and plenty of candlelight.

Following intros, Maura and Matt shared their first dance, parent dances and speeches before dinner.
And then came the party!
Instead of a DJ, Maura and Matt had The Barcelonas through EBE Talent providing live music for their reception.
Between the band, the dance floor and all their favorite people together, it was all the vibes we LOVE getting to capture.

If you’re looking for a Montgomery County wedding venue near Philadelphia, The Belle of Blue Bell should definitely make the list!
Here are a few things to know about the property:
One of the biggest advantages of a venue like this is being able to plan your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception within the same property.
When you’re touring, ask how each space will be used on your actual wedding date, what the indoor ceremony option looks like and how the team handles transitions throughout the day.
Those details matter just as much as finding somewhere beautiful!
You can learn more about the venue directly through The Belle of Blue Bell’s website.
