ToggleFrom the moment I arrived, it felt like everyone was genuinely excited to celebrate Laura and Wayne!

There wasn’t a rush to move from one event to the next or a feeling that anyone was watching the clock. Friends helped with the final touches, family members shared conversations before the ceremony and every hug throughout the day reminded me that this wedding wasn’t just about two people getting married, It was about bringing together everyone who had walked alongside them to this point!
One of the reasons the day flowed so naturally was their decision to celebrate at The Marian House in Cherry Hill, NJ. Laura and Wayne were able to stay present and live inside the moments of their wedding day!

If you’re searching for a Cherry Hill wedding venue, The Marian House feels welcoming the moment you walk through the doors! Located just minutes from Philadelphia, it offers couples an elegant space while still feeling comfortable for guests traveling from both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
One thing couples immediately appreciate is that The Marian House hosts only one wedding each day. Which means every space feels dedicated to your family and friends, allowing everyone to settle in and enjoy the experience together!

The venue itself balances timeless architecture with thoughtful design. Crystal chandeliers, warm wood finishes, herringbone flooring and a stunning marble fireplace create a reception space that photographs beautifully in every direction. Cocktail hour takes place in a separate room, giving guests a natural place to gather before moving into the ballroom for dinner by Willow & Sage Catering, one of South Jersey’s most respected (and delicious) catering teams!
For couples who want an elegant venue without spending the day traveling between multiple locations, it’s easy to understand why The Marian House continues to be one of the most popular South Jersey wedding venues!
One of my favorite things about Laura and Wayne’s wedding is that every choice reflected something about the two of them or the people they love most.
Laura’s grandmother’s bracelet became a reminder that family was part of every chapter of the day. During the reception, guests found little surprises waiting for them, including lottery ticket favors that immediately became conversation starters around the room! Later, soft pretzels and cheesesteaks made their way onto the dance floor, which honestly felt like the perfect ending to a South Jersey Wedding!

Then there were the Eagles jerseys👌
Nobody expected Laura and Wayne to come back wearing custom Eagles jerseys and the room absolutely loved it! The dance floor somehow became even louder than it already was and it perfectly captured something I noticed throughout the day. They weren’t trying to create moments for photos, they were straight up enjoying their wedding exactly the way they wanted to and those moments became everyone’s favorites! (Including mine!)
Laura and Wayne chose to share a first look before the ceremony and it ended up being one of the sweetest moments of the entire day!
Before guests filled the ceremony space and before the excitement of the evening really began, they had a chance to just be together.

Their first look also allowed us to complete many of their portraits before the ceremony. That meant once cocktail hour began, Laura and Wayne were able to spend much more time talking with guests instead of disappearing for photos. If connecting with family and friends is important to you, that extra time can make a huge difference!

One thing I noticed throughout Laura and Wayne’s wedding was how connected everyone felt from beginning to end. Because the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all took place at The Marian House, guests never felt separated from the day. Conversations carried from one part of the day to the next, family members hung out together during cocktail hour and the reception started with the same excitement that had filled the ceremony!

This type of flow is one of the biggest advantages of planning a Marian House wedding. Instead of spending time coordinating transportation or moving between venues, couples can stay focused on what they’re actually there to celebrate. It creates a day that feels more relaxed, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the experience rather than simply keeping up with the schedule.
One thing I appreciate about photographing weddings at The Marian House is how many different backdrops are available without leaving the property. The elegant ballroom, warm architectural details and beautifully designed outdoor spaces allow every part of the gallery to feel different while keeping the timeline simple.

Laura and Wayne’s gallery reflects exactly that! Their portraits feel timeless, the ceremony is filled with genuine emotion and the reception captures the excitement of being surrounded by the people who love them most. Those in-between moments are always my favorite because they’re often the ones couples don’t realize happened until they look through their gallery later.

As the night continued, it became obvious that Laura and Wayne had one goal for their reception: they wanted everyone to have a great time together!

The dance floor stayed full and conversations continued around every table. Their custom Eagles jerseys brought another wave of excitement to the reception, and honestly…I don’t think anyone saw them coming lol. Those are the moments that make a wedding memorable!
Later in the night, guests grabbed soft pretzels and cheesesteaks before heading back to celebrate, adding another local touch that felt perfectly fitting for a South Jersey wedding! The night ended outside with sparkler photos surrounded by their wedding party, creating one final moment together before everyone headed home.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is hearing how couples feel after they receive their wedding gallery. My goal has never been to just take beautiful photos. It’s to create images that help couples remember what the day actually felt like years from now!
Here’s what Laura and Wayne shared after receiving their gallery:

Reading reviews like this means so much because those quiet conversations, genuine smiles and unexpected moments are exactly what I hope every couple remembers when they look back through their photographs!
If you’re considering The Marian House for your wedding, it’s easy to understand why so many couples choose it! Hosting one wedding day at a time, keeping every part of the day in one location and creating a guest experience that feels effortless allows couples to focus on what matters most instead of managing logistics.

Laura and Wayne’s wedding is such a great example of that. Their day was defined by the people who surrounded them, the love they shared together and the memories they created from beginning to end!
