Growing up in Deptford, New Jersey and spending every summer in North Wildwood and Cape May gave me a deep appreciation for everything this area has to offer. Today, I love helping couples discover the South Jersey wedding venues that fit their vision while creating a wedding day that feels relaxed, intentional, and centered on the people they love most.
After photographing weddings throughout South Jersey, I've learned that choosing the right venue isn't just about the view. It's about how your day flows, how your guests experience it, and giving you the space to actually enjoy every moment.

After photographing weddings at Running Deer Golf Club for nearly a decade, it's become one of my favorite South Jersey wedding venues for couples who want flexibility without sacrificing flow. Unlike many venues that offer a single ceremony setup, Running Deer gives couples four distinct ceremony options, including a secret location overlooking the golf course that many couples never discover during their initial tour. Between the wooded vibes of The Timbers, the classic Pergola, the Grand Ballroom rain backup and the hidden golf course ceremony location, couples have multiple ways to personalize the experience while keeping the entire day centered in one location.

Founders Grove stands out among South Jersey wedding venues because it combines historic charm with a fresh, intentional design that feels unlike anything else in the area! The restored 1743 farmhouse, six acres of gardens and modern Carriage House create a wedding day where every part of the wedding day happens on one private property. From getting ready through the last dance, couples can enjoy a relaxed timeline, beautiful portrait locations and a guest experience that feels seamless without ever leaving the venue!

South Jersey has a wide variety of wedding venues, from elegant ballrooms and country clubs to waterfront venues, historic estates and outdoor spaces. The best venue depends on your guest count, wedding vision and the experience you want to create with the people you love.

Start by thinking about how you want your wedding day to feel, not just how you want it to look. Consider your guest count, ceremony and reception locations, getting-ready spaces, photography opportunities and the venue's rain plan. Choosing a venue that supports the flow of your day gives you more time to actually be present with your people.
Natural light, flexible portrait locations and a comfortable getting-ready space can make a huge difference. I also recommend looking at indoor options in case of rain and considering how far you'll need to travel between locations. A thoughtful venue layout helps us create beautiful photographs without constantly pulling you away from your wedding day.
I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your wedding date and venue secured, especially for popular spring and fall dates. Booking early also gives us more time to plan your engagement session and create a wedding timeline that protects the moments and relationships that matter most to you.
Yes! I photograph weddings throughout South Jersey and the surrounding East Coast. Every venue has its own flow, lighting and personality, and part of my process is understanding your space and timeline so your photography feels natural to your day.
